We are a team of experienced professionals, with high profile achievements in a wide range of industries and disciplines. The extensive skills-base of our members has been developed by participation in a large number of projects, and thus allows us to approach any situation with significant expertise.

Members of the Equitix team have been directly responsible for leading, bidding, winning and closing some of the most challenging infrastructure projects in the UK, and have raised over £7 billion of debt and equity since inception in 2007.

Siôn Jones, CFA

Siôn joined Equitix in July 2010 and manages the Equitix portfolio of funds. He sits on the Investment Committees for all of the Equitix Funds. He heads the monthly Asset Management meetings, which the Equitix SPV Board Directors report into, and then in turn reports into the monthly Investment Committee performance reviews.  He is responsible for maximising asset performance and optimising corporate cash flows, implementing a number of measures, in particular to EF I and EF II assets, which have helped to achieve the current investor returns. Siôn is active in managing the portfolio of assets and sits on a number of project company boards including High Speed One, Birmingham Highways, Sheffield Highways, Gwynt-y-Mor OFTO, Humber OFTO, Greater Gabbard OFTO and Thanet OFTO. Siôn has been instrumental in the origination of a number of new deals and in actively pursuing pre-emption opportunities on existing assets. Prior to joining Equitix, Siôn was a partner at King Sturge where he was responsible for asset and project company management, including assets partially owned by EF I. Siôn established the Corporate Finance division of King Sturge with responsibility for creating institutional and private equity real estate investment vehicles. Siôn has also worked for Arthur Andersen in the Specialist Finance Group, and for Mercer in the Investment Consultancy department. Siôn has a BSc Honours in Chemistry from the University of Southampton. He is a CFA charterholder and holds an Investment Management Certificate and a Certificate in Securities from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Jon joined Equitix as Financial Controller in May 2007 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer. He has worked on a number of transactions whilst at Equitix including secondary acquisitions of health, education and leisure projects and primary projects across all sectors. In particular, Jon leads the technical, financial and accounting team on behalf of the Equitix consortium bidding for renewable energy transmission projects (OFTOs). Jon sits on the Fund Investment Committees for all of the Equitix Funds and the Board of Equitix Holdings Limited. He led the bid for the University of Salford and was a key member of the commercial bidding team responsible for closing Greater Gabbard, Equitix’s first investment into offshore transmission projects (OFTOs).  Prior to joining Equitix, Jon was a project accountant in John Laing plc primarily involved in acute hospital deals as well as police and criminal justice and LIFT projects throughout the UK. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Management Accountants and holds a BA (Honours) in Finance and Corporate Structuring from Manchester University.

Geoff is a founding Director of Equitix and serves as Group Chief Executive Officer. Since founding Equitix in 2007, Geoff has successfully built and led a team of professionals, who have developed a portfolio of core infrastructure projects. Geoff led a number of Equitix’s initial investments particularly in the education sector, achieving financial close on Greenwich and Essex BSF projects partnering with Babcock and Skanska respectively. He plays an active role in all aspects of the business and sits on the board of Equitix Holdings Limited as well as the Investment Committees for all of the Equitix Funds. Geoff has over 40 years of development and construction industry experience. Prior to founding Equitix, he was Managing Director of Programme Management with Skanska Infrastructure Development, running all PPP bidding and in particular, was responsible for leading the team that produced the winning proposal for the £1.4 billion Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital PFI bid. Prior to joining Skanska, he was the Divisional Director at Bovis Lend Lease responsible for some of the first UK PFI healthcare projects. Geoff is a Chartered Builder (MCIOB), a graduate of Hertfordshire College of Building, Reading University (CM course), and Brighton University (MSC Construction modules).

Hugh Crossley

Hugh is a founding Director of Equitix and serves as the Group’s Chief Investment Officer. Hugh is responsible for fund raising at Equitix and managed the establishment of EF III which closed on £505 million with 21 investors, EF II which closed on £333 million with 14 investors and the formation of the £104m EF I with 8 investors. He chairs the Investment Committee for all Equitix funds and oversees the portfolio management functions, responsible for the administration and optimisation of the funds’ assets. Hugh is also responsible for the majority of Equitix’s secondary acquisitions and has managed the bids for all of the Equitix LIFTCos. He has also led various teams to win the bids for Greater Gabbard OFTO, Blackpool Street Lighting, Oldham and Rochdale Street Lighting, Leeds Mental Health Unit and Pembrokeshire Schools. Prior to joining Equitix, Hugh was Commercial Manager at John Laing where he managed Laing’s investments into the Social Housing and Hospital sectors including Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital as well as the acquisition of two Canadian Hospitals. Prior to John Laing, he worked for Bechtel Corporation both in London and USA. Hugh graduated with a BSc (Honours) Environmental & Ecological Engineering from the University of Newcastle. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).

Fiona joined Equitix in May 2007 and has been involved in bidding for projects in the primary market within the healthcare and housing sector, predominantly at the forefront of the bid Team as the Bid Manager for the North Tyneside Homes for Older People PFI Project. Fiona has experience in assembling consortia, selecting legal and financial advisers as well as architects. Previously Fiona worked in the NHS for 27 years and worked for 7 years exclusively on the development of Queens Hospital in Romford. Prior to this Fiona held a number of senior nursing and management roles within the Trust. Fiona is a Registered Nurse. She also has a Diploma in Management studies and is a qualified Prince Practitioner.

David joined Equitix in 2007 and plays a strategic role in the majority of Equitix's primary bidding activity. He leads across a number of accommodation sectors in including education, health and social housing and has been instrumental in achieving financial close for West Yorkshire Police and the University of Essex, Equitix's first investment into student accommodation. David led the Team on Equitix's first successful primary bid where Equitix were appointed Preferred Bidder for the Derbyshire BSF schools and he remains a Director on the Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire LEPs. David has 20 years experience in the PPP market working for both the public and private sectors including Carillion, John Laing and the NHS.

Andy has over 16 years experience working on major infrastructure projects. Since joining Equitix in January 2008, Andy has worked as the LEP Development Manager on Cambridgeshire BSF, successfully developing the project from bidding to preferred bidder and achieving Financial Close within 6 months. He has led a number of bids in the primary PFI/PPP market including the Equitix consortium bidding for Brunswick Social Housing PFI. Andy is a Director on the board of a number of Equitix's LIFT Cos and a board director of a LIFT JV investment company. Previously, Andy worked at Laing O'Rourke, where he was a Project Leader, responsible for the delivery of a number of projects and he has also worked for Norwest Holst. He has a BEng (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer (MICE).

Andy has over 20 years experience in Project and Bid Management, with the last 12 years in the global PPP market specialising in the healthcare, education & local authority sectors. Andy joined Equitix in 2008 as Development Manager on the successful £80m Derbyshire BSF program, and went on to lead the bid team in winning and closing the £65m Cambridgeshire BSF project, including managing the development and construction through to service availability of the Thomas Clarkson Community College. As LEP General Manager, Andy continues to report to the LEP Board on the delivery & performance of these schools. More recently, Andy has been the Bid Director on the Equitix led consortium that has been appointed Preferred Bidder for Scotland's £265m South West Hub initiative. Prior to joining Equitix, Andy worked as a Programme Manager for Skanska.

Fabio has been part of the Equitix team since the establishment of the manager in 2007. As Commercial Director he is responsible for sourcing, bidding and executing both primary and secondary infrastructure investments across all Equitix Funds. In this role, Fabio has directed the acquisition of numerous projects across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, streetlighting, roads, leisure, transport, waste to energy, transmission, offshore wind and traditional renewable technologies. Fabio is also in charge of developing Equitix European business and has been sourcing and executing all Equitix European deals to date.  Fabio serves as a director on the board of a number of Equitixs project companies and prior to joining, he was a Principal Consultant in the Infrastructure Finance and PFI team of Scott Wilson advising funds, financial institutions, private sponsors and public authorities on major PFI and transport transactions in Europe, the Middle East and America.  He holds a Laurea (MSc) magna cum laude in Civil Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Finance.

Geoff became involved with Equitix in February 2007. Geoffrey has over 20 years experience in major projects; whilst working for Trafalgar House and Skanska, he structured and led the finance negotiations on several landmark transactions, including Tsing Ma Bridge in HK, Tagus River Crossing in Portugal, M1-A1, Dundee WtE plant and four major PFI hospitals. Geoffrey also has widely-based asset disposal, project and capital asset investment evaluation experience in industry and banking sectors. Geoff has a BA in Economics from Manchester University and a Corporate Finance Diploma from London Business School.

Antony works in the Investor Relations and Business Development Team. He joined Equitix in 2008 and worked in the Commercial Team until 2016, structuring transactions across a number of infrastructure sectors including highways, healthcare, social housing and energy from waste. He was the Bid Lead for the acquisition of a Street Lighting portfolio from SSE and played a lead role in achieving financial close on Papworth Hospital PPP. Antony has a 2.1 degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (MA Oxon) from University College, Oxford and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Simon joined Equitix in 2008 and was involved in Equitix's first education bids, particularly Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire BSF which he worked on from the outset through to financial close and into the development and delivery stages. Simon led the Equitix Team that won the £100m West Yorkshire Police contract and is part of the Equitix led consortium appointed Preferred Bidder for Scotland's South West Hub initiative, the programme that will see the delivery of a pipeline of investments throughout the South West of Scotland. Prior to Equitix Simon worked for Mott MacDonald as a Senior Engineer in their bridges team. Simon has an MBA (Distinction, University of Warwick), 1st Class Masters in Civil Engineering and Management (University of Birmingham) and is a Chartered Civil Engineer.

John joined Equitix in July 2009 and leads the Business Development team which is responsible for investor relations; fund-raising of core funds, managed accounts and co-investment opportunities; and pursuing new investment strategies. John played a key role in the fund-raising and establishment of the successive Equitix funds and managed accounts: Equitix Fund II (2010); Equitix Fund III (2013); Equitix Energy Efficiency Fund LP (2013); Equitix MA 1 LP (2014); Equitix Fund IV LP (2015); and Equitix MA 2 LP and Equitix M25 Access LP (both in 2017). When John joined Equitix in 2009 he was responsible for the financial management and reporting of Equitix's first generation fund Equitix Fund I. Having successfully set up the financial reporting framework for Fund I he went onto establish the successive Equitix funds, whilst at the same time work closely with the Fund Investment Committees to deploy capital, and with the Asset Management teams to optimise fund performance through his roles on the boards of directors for the underlying portfolio companies in the Equitix Funds. John continues to take responsibility for the financial management and reporting of the Equitix Funds. Previously, John worked at BDO in the audit department. He is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW - ACA) and holds a BA (Honours) in Theology and Religious Studies from Bristol University.

Richard joined Equitix in 2009 and has over 17 years’ experience in the establishment and operational delivery of infrastructure projects across a variety of roles in both the public and private sectors. Richard holds a number of Equitix directorships ranging from Blue Light to Highways Infrastructure. He is typically involved through the development stage and into steady state asset management. Richard brings a technical background to the management of PFI contracts with a focus on stakeholder management. This blend of experience as well as hands on approach has helped to resolve several commercial issues and technical problems. Importantly, Richard takes an active role in client liaison and relationship management. Before joining Equitix he was the Project Director for the Sheffield BSF Program and he has also worked for Balfour Beatty Investments. He holds a BSc (Honours) in Construction Management, he is also a Fellow of the CIOB and a Member of the RICS.

Ben joined Equitix in 2009 and has 12 years experience in the fields of social housing, urban regeneration and infrastructure development. At Equitix he has predominantly played lead roles in the development of the primary bids for North Tyneside Housing and Brunswick Social Housing projects. His skills and experience in consultancy and regeneration have been vital in facilitating the progression of Equitix's presence in bidding in this sector. Prior to Equitix Ben was Project Leader for Auckland Regional Council's (New Zealand) Urban Development Team working on infrastructure development. He has also worked as a Regeneration Manager at the Riverside Group, a top 3 Housing Association in the UK, and for Inner City Solutions. Ben holds an MA in Modern European History from the University of Bradford, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

David joined Equitix in October 2010. Initially responsible for the financial management of Equitix Fund I, David now oversees the financial management and reporting of the Equitix core infrastructure funds and their underlying companies. He takes an active role in the Equitix fund asset management and optimisation functions; he sits on the Board of Directors of numerous Equitix investments including leisure, education and LIFT assets and is a member of the Fund Investment Committees. Prior to joining Equitix, David trained with Deloitte LLP in the Energy, Infrastructure, and Utilities Audit Department where he gained experience of a wide variety of companies. David is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). He has a 1st class Honours Earth Sciences degree from Oxford University and a DPhil in climate change and ocean circulation in 2007.

Jonathan is principally responsible for the valuation and due diligence of prospective secondary market infrastructure investments within the UK and European PPP/PFI sectors, and has worked on over 20 successful acquisitions since 2013 with a cumulative equity investment in excess of £800m. In particular, Jonathan was part of the deal teams that successfully obtained equity interests in both the High Speed 1 concession and the M25 Road Widening PFI project. More recently, Jonathan also led the acqusition of a portfolio of minority interests in five PFI projects from Foresight Group in December 2017. Jonathan joined Equitix as a graduate in February 2011 and he holds a 2:1 degree in Government and History (BSc Hons) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Mark joined Equitix in November 2011 with particular responsibility for education and other accommodation projects and has since led the Equitix Team on the University of Essex student accommodation project, Equitix's first project in this sector. Mark has been involved in PPP for over 12 years and was previously in the commercial team at Partnerships for Schools, part of the Department for Education, the U.K. Government agency responsible for all capital procurement on the school estate in England. In previous years, Mark was a Director in the Infrastructure Finance Group, Global Banking & Markets at RBS in London. He has 10 years investment banking experience and held directorships for a number of the RBS's UK PFI and property investments. Mark has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Economics from Plymouth University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

Rebecca joined in November 2011 and leads the commercial team within Equitix. She also has particular responsibility for the offshore transmission (OFTO) sector and led Equitix's involvement in the successful financial close of Greater Gabbard OFTO in November 2013; the first debt capital markets funded OFTO. She also worked on hub South West Scotland's first DBFM project, which achieved financial close in December 2013. Rebecca over 12 years' PPP experience across energy, transport and social infrastructure and was previously in Infrastructure Advisory at Ernst and Young LLP where she was seconded to Ofgem in an OFTO policy design role and, prior to that, advised Ofgem on the first round of OFTO tenders. Rebecca is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and holds a BA (Honours) in Politics and Government from University of Kent at Canterbury.

Katrina joined Equitix in November 2011 as receptionist and office manager and is now PA to Geoff Jackson, Nick Parker, Hugh Crossley and Jonathan Smith. She fulfils an essential role in managing each of their diaries, arranging meetings, travel and accommodation. Katrina also supports the rest of team wherever possible. Before joining Equitix Katrina worked for 4 years as a Customer Services Assistant at Executive Offices Group.

Ben is Investment Director for Energy Saving Investments, the Equitix managed Fund responsible for seeking suitable non domestic opportunities to invest in the energy efficiency sector on behalf of UK Green Investments. Ben was part of the Team that was appointed Preferred Bidder by UKGI in July 2012 to source, invest and manage these investments. He joined Equitix in March 2012 within 4 months of joining Equitix, Ben led the acquisition of Project TSY, in particular the financial and commercial diligence through to Financial Close. Prior to joining Equitix, Ben was an Investment Director at Building Schools for the Future Investments (BSFI) where he was responsible for a portfolio of BSFI's investments. He has also worked for Royal Bank of Canada and Carillion. He holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge.

Egan joined Equitix in January 2012 to develop the company's involvement in the waste and renewable sectors. Egan's extensive experience carrying out technical and commercial diligence is a great advantage to the team whilst continuing to source suitable investments on behalf of the Equitix Funds. Prior to joining Equitix, Egan helped develop and implement Aleltho Energy's business strategy and before then, he was a Director at Juniper Consultancy. Egan is a Chartered Engineer with a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Chemical Engineering with Material Science and a BEng Honours in Chemical Engineering both from the University of Leeds. He holds various other memberships including: Membership of the ICHEME and the Energy, Environment and Sustainability Group (EESG) of the IMECHE.

Gavin joined Equitix in September 2012 with a background in corporate banking. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial service industry and has over 14 years experience in the PPP/PFI sector. Gavin is responsible for the management of investments made by Equitix Fund III. Prior to joining Equitix, Gavin worked for Nationwide Commercial within the Project Finance Department leading teams involved in lending to PFI clients. He had responsibility for developing Nationwide's position in the PFI market and worked on a number of bids alongside Equitix that are now under ownership by Equitix Fund I or Equitix Fund II including Cambridgeshire and Derbyshire BSF and Birmingham Highways. Gavin has also worked for Alliance & Leicester and Sumitomo Bank (now SMBC). He is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland, ACIBS.

Andrew Munro Senior Development & Asset Manager: Andrew joined Equitix in October 2012 from Davis Langdon where he had been since 2002 and most recently was the Senior Development Manager on the Hub South East Territory. Since joining Equitix, Andrew has primarily been involved in the delivery of our hub South West projects. In particular, Andrew has been project lead on 8 financial closes to date (aggregate capex value £78m), including our £31m Greenfaulds High School DBFM project. Andrew is now our development lead on 3 DBFM projects with a total capex value of £100m as well as a group of capital funded (non-investment) projects with a capex value of £70m. Andrew is an experienced bid lead, development manager and SPV project manager, particularly within the education, healthcare and Scottish Hub sectors. Andrew has a BSc (Honours) degree in Quantity Surveying from Robert Gordon University and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).

Adam joined Equitix in October 2012 as a Senior Investment Manager for Energy Saving Investments, the fund established to manage investments on behalf of UK Green Investments into the non domestic energy efficiency sector. Adam joined from KPMG where he worked as a Corporate Finance Manager with a particular focus on the energy and renewables industry. His experience includes successfully raising project finance debt for a UK £80m onshore wind farm; advising a pension fund looking to acquire a £600m pan European portfolio of solar PV projects; and, advising a £125m biomass CHP project. Prior to joining KPMG Adam worked for Advanced Power and Centrica Adam has a BA in Spanish & European Studies and a post grad diploma in International Political Economy both from the University of Manchester. He is CIMA qualified up to certificate level.

Michael joined Equitix in March 2013 and is responsible for the delivery of over £500 million of public sector infrastructure projects for South West Scotland's 15 Hub participants throughout Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway and Lanarkshire. He joined from Hochtief PPP Solutions Ltd where he had been since 2005. Michael was responsible for setting up their business in Scotland and was Executive Director of Operations with specific responsibility for asset management across their portfolio of projects within the UK and Ireland. Prior to this Michael worked with Bam, working for their PPP investment division. Michael's PPP experience spans over 11 years where he has attained a successful track record for the delivery of approximately £900 million of infrastructure assets. He is a qualified Quantity Surveyor.

Achal joined Equitix in July 2013 with the key responsibility to originate and execute secondary acquisitions. Achal has extensive PFI experience with more than 15 completed transactions in the secondary market involving total equity value of more than £1billion across a variety of sectors (including education, healthcare, social housing and waste). He was previously working as an Associate Director at KPMG Corporate Finance at London, focused on the secondary market. He holds a 1st class B.Com(Hons) degree in Accounting, Economics and Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce (Delhi University, India) and is also a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Phil joined Equitix in September 2013 having worked as a consultant on the Equitix Fund I assets for 6 months. Phil brings with him over 20 years of professional property and construction experience with a particular focus on developing strategies and managing risk in operating projects. Prior to Equitix, Phil was Managing Director for a construction and property development company in the North-East from 2004 where he had also previously worked as a Development Manager. As Development Manager he was responsible for developing new business forming strategic partnerships with joint venture partners and Local Authorities and working alongside design teams and contractors producing cost/valuation reports. Phil has a BSc Architectural Technology from the Hull School of Architecture.

Craig joined Equitix in September 2013 from Hochtief PPP Solutions where he had been since 2006. Craig has over 14 years industry experience, the last ten years of which he has been operating in the UK PPP market in both operational and most recently Project Development and Bidding roles. As a Development Manager at Hochtief, Craig was responsible for leading bid teams through both competitively procured and framework schemes for revenue funded projects. Most recently, Craig was responsible for leading Scottish NPD project bid teams. Prior to this Craig worked with Bam, working for their Construction division. Craig has a BSc (Honours) in Quantity Surveying.

Michael joined Equitix in October 2013. Prior to this he worked as a Development Manager for BAM PPP UK Ltd for 8 years. Michael has experience of both development and delivery roles within the UK PPP market across multiple sectors where he worked in BAM's PPP bidding team on a total of 17 bid submissions prior to working on the development and delivery of the £100 million West Dunbartonshire Schools Project and Camden BSF project. Michael has a BA (Honours) degree in Business Management and an MSc degree with distinction in International Project Management

Rosemary joined Equitix in January 2014 as a financial controller and is responsible for the financial management and reporting of Fund III and its underlying portfolio. Prior to Equitix, Rosemary worked at Ingenious Investments from 2011 where she gained extensive experience in fund accounting and management, developing and instigating commercial relationships. Rosemary has an MA from the University of Edinburgh in Philosophy and Theology, completed a law conversion (CPD/GDL) at City University, the BVC at the Inns of Court Law School and is a qualified CIMA chartered accountant.

Ross joined the Equitix commercial team in July 2014 and is involved in both primary and secondary market opportunities. Prior to starting at Equitix he worked as a portfolio manager at the NIBC European Infrastructure fund, managing a number of operational PFI assets; and then later as a VP in the infrastructure and renewable energy team, with a particular emphasis on financial advisory mandates. He has a long track record within the infrastructure sector, having also worked in the infrastructure teams at Royal Bank of Canada, RBS and HBOS. Roles included being a senior lender and financial advisor on several PPP, renewable energy, and hybrid infrastructure projects. Ross holds a 2:1 degree in Economics (BSc) from the University of Warwick.

Peter joined Equitix from the Infrastructure Investments team at Balfour Beatty, where he was a senior lawyer. Peter has worked alongside Equitix both as vendor and as part of a consortium on a number of Equitix’s infrastructure projects including the Greater Gabbard and Gwynt y Mor OFTOs as part of the Equitix Balfour Beatty consortium that won the two projects through the competitive Ofgem tender process. On the sale side he acted on behalf of Balfour Beatty in the disposal of North Lanarkshire schools (2012), CNDR and A30/35 roads (2013) and most recently Thanet OFTO (2015) to the Equitix Funds on the secondary market. Peter joined Balfour Beatty in 2006 and prior to joining Balfour Beatty in 2006, Peter was a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for five years. Peter holds an M.A. in law from the University of Cambridge, Selwyn College.

During this period Adam worked on a wide range of deals, including acting as advisor to E.ON on its sale of a £236m stake in Rampion Offshore Wind Farm to GIB, and advising Thames Water on its early stage procurement of Thames Tideway Tunnel. Sean Joined Equitix in May 2016 as a Financial Controller in the finance department. Prior to joining Equitix Sean worked at KPMG Cape Town in their external audit financial services business unit. His portfolio of clients included predominantly asset management, hedge funds and private equity. During Sean’s time at KPMG he worked on a large listed asset manager and was responsible for overseeing the group consolidation (including foreign operations) and assuring it was completed before the Johannesburg Securities Exchange (JSE) deadline. Sean also worked on an African Infrastructure Private Equity Manager where he was responsible for overseeing the audit of 13 entities in line with International Financial Reporting Standards. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting from Nelson Mandela University (NMU).

Prior to joining, Tom worked at Pell Frischmann and Amey, specialising in the energy, clean/waste water and street lighting sectors. During this period Tom worked on three street lighting PFI’s, that Equitix are joint investor with Pell Frischmann. This blend of experience as well as pragmatic approach has helped to resolve several commercial issues and technical problems. Tom’s main focus is Fund IV, however Tom is also SPV Director on a number of existing deals within Fund I, II and III.

David started his career as a Power Transmission Engineer in National Grid and for the following 20 years undertook senior roles in Construction, System planning and Design, System Operations and Maintenance, Asset Management and Regulation. Since leaving National Grid, David has worked for EdF/UKPN and various Electricity Transmission Construction companies, latterly responsible for the design and construction of the Onshore and Offshore transmission assets at Humber Gateway which have since been acquired by Equitix Fund IV. Prior to joining Equitix, David was General Manager for Balfour Beatty responsible for the Operational Management of the Balfour Beatty/Equitix OFTO Portfolio. David is widely respected and recognised throughout the Electricity Supply Industry for his wide and detailed technical and operational expertise in all aspects of Electricity Transmission.

Paul joined Equitix from Mott MacDonald where he provided advice to investors across the project lifecycle, including reviewing market and regulatory context, commercial risk, technology validation, cost and cash flow assumptions and scenario modelling. In addition to a recent focus and specialism in the waste-to-energy and clean technology sector, he has advised funding agencies on a range of infrastructure schemes across different sectors (including education, health, housing, accommodation, mining and defence) in the UK, Europe and Africa. Pablo joined the Asset Management team at Equitix in June 2017 in a role of Director for our European assets. He brings expertise in the renewables and power transmission industries from the 5 years he worked at DONG Energy prior to joining Equitix. During that period he worked as an SPV Manager for its offshore wind and OFTO portfolio and he also played a key role in the execution of large offshore wind divestments in the UK. Prior to this, Pablo worked across Europe in a number of roles in finance at Merrill Lynch as well as in technical positions at engineering companies. Pablo is fluent in Spanish, Italian, French and English and he holds a MBA from INSEAD Business school and a MSc degree in Mechanical and Civil Engineering.

Nick has successfully led bid teams from the initial stages through to financial close in a number of sectors and notably, has fronted the teams that achieved financial close on the Brunswick Social Housing and North Tyne Extra Care, University of Essex, West Yorkshire Police PFI, Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire BSF and Sheffield and Birmingham Highways. Prior to Equitix, Nick was Development Director at Skanska Infrastructure Development, where he was part of the bidding team that successfully won the £1.4 billion Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital PFI. In former years, Nick worked for Amey Ventures Ltd, Richard Ellis St. Quintin and DTZ Pieda Consulting, respectively. Nick graduated with a BSc (Honours) Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Nick was a director of Equitix and served as Group Chief Operating Officer heading up Primary bidding activities until May 2018. He will be retiring from the business in December 2018.
